- About ChriS -

Meet Chris Perrine, a 34-year-old independent country artist / songwriter from Henderson, Nevada. Chris's musical voyage began in his youth playing classical music as a cellist, until he decided to switch lanes when he picked up his first guitar at 25.  Since then he's been on a mission to create songs that resonate deeply with listeners. His influences range from Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Phil Collins, Switchfoot, Relient K and more.. to modern country acts like Eli Young Band, Brett Young, Mitchell Tenpenny and Muscadine Bloodline resulting in a style that beautifully blends genuine stories with unforgettable melodies.

After making the move to Nashville in 2018, Chris's dedication has yielded impressive milestones. He was a Semi-Finalist in the Tennessee Songwriter's Week competition for two consecutive years. He's joined the lineup for the Bluebird Cafe's Sunday Night artist showcases for the last few years, and taken his original music to stages across Nashville and outside of Tennessee to tell his story. Chris's commitment to storytelling through his music reflects his belief in embracing challenges and pursuing dreams without hesitation.

Beyond his personal achievements, Chris Perrine co-hosts the renowned "Tunabop!" writer's night in Nashville, a vibrant hub for songwriters and artists to come together and share their creativity. Chris has also contributed his songwriting talents to collaborative projects, including the viral wedding song "I Found You" with Rebecca Brunner & SongHouse reaching over 10+ million streams, “Honestly” with American Idol Season 22 finalist Kayko, and a wide range of other influential Nashville artists. With 9 self-released songs and songwriting contributions to various other artists projects, Chris's music speaks to the power of resilience and universal emotions.
